Gilding, a synonym for the application of gold leaf, is the perfect way to transform any surface from mundane to spectacular.  Available in metallic colors including gold, silver and copper, and arranged via the broken leaf method to standard sheet foil, gilding creates an ornamental and important look.  With the use of special patina treatments, the metal foil can be chemically tarnished or transformed into a rainbow of natural colors.  Gilding is suitable not only for furnishings, but to wall surfaces as well.  Toning the leaf creates warm
